About the artist

Danni Crombie is an Alaska-based artist who works primarily with mixed media such as acrylic, ink, textiles, and digital art. Born and raised in Alaska, she is influenced by her native culture and life experiences. Ms. Crombie has a unique perspective that evokes feeling through unconventional characters, patterns, and approach. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art from Fort Lewis, she combines humor and technique to create relatable work that draws the viewer in for a more personal conversation. Ms. Crombie uses art as a way for her voice to be heard and most importantly a way to connect people. 

Ms. Crombie has participated in exhibits like the Fort Lewis PIVOT Exhibit, the Center of Southwest Studies Throughline Exhibit, and now works as the Community Engagement Manager at the Anchorage Museum.
